Cultivated in ancient times as a source of staple food, the chestnut tree symbolizes resourcefulness, and masterful abundance in relation to one’s environment. The chestnut tree is known as the “bread tree,” – a sturdy provider of nutritious nuts, with millenia-old food traditions in many cultures.  

The chestnut tree collection is a statement piece and the embodiment of bounteousness. Elena was inspired by the chestnut trees and endless chestnuts of her early childhood in Chernigov, Ukraine, then later by the chestnut trees she experienced during her travels to Paris.
